Another public transport project in Stockholm

Region Stockholm is continuing to expand and upgrade the city’s SL metro network. One of many ongoing projects to ensure a smoothly functioning public transport system is the Yellow line. This runs from Arenastaden, via Hagalund and Hagastaden to Odenplan where it merges with the Green line. With the new line it will be possible to travel directly from Stockholm’s southern suburbs to the Karolinska University Hospital in Hagastaden, or to Arenastaden where there are offices, shopping and conference centers.
The existing rectifier station at Hälsingehöjden, near Odenplan metro station, will be completely renovated and extended.
Harju Elekter has again been chosen by Region Stockholm for this type of upgrading and extension project, which includes medium voltage, rectifier voltage and low voltage switchgear, and transformers. Also, ventilation, fire prevention and control systems.
Harju Elekter has begun scheduling the project to ensure that the station is ready for final inspection in February 2024.
