Project activities are progressing at a steady pace
Our project portfolio is becoming extensive and the confidence in the market in Harju Elekter is steadily increasing. With more experienced employees and a newly built factory in Västerås, our delivery capacity increases significantly to respond to the electrification boom in Sweden.
During the autumn, we have received many interesting and exciting projects. Here are some examples.
Power equipment to bus depot is the basis for electrification of urban traffic
In September, Harju Elekter received an order from Källströms Elektriska with delivery to Timboholm’s bus depot in Skövde. The facility will be completed by May 2024 and is an important part of Västtrafik’s significant investments to electrify city traffic in Skövde and throughout the province.
Our delivery includes medium voltage switchgear, 12 kV, dry insulated distribution transformers,
2 000 kVA, and low voltage switchgear. The equipment will be placed in a receiving station, in the main building and in four substations. Harju Elekter’s contract also includes engineering and commissioning.

Electrical power equipment for Nobia’s new highly automated factory
Assemblin El AB has received an order comprising electrical equipment that will be delivered to Nobia’s new factory in Sweden. Nobia is one of Europe’s leading kitchen manufacturers. They now invest in a new advanced production facility located in Jönköping. In September, Harju Elekter delivered phase 1 of 3.
The delivery comprises NFS cassette switchgear 4 000 A and 1 600 A, switchboards and communication through SEBVision – Harju Elekter’s control and supervision system. Engineering, installation, and assembly on site are included in the project.
Substations for solar parks
Harju Elekter is supplying electrical equipment to several solar park projects.
One example is an order for substations 2 000 and 2 500 kVA with epoxi insulated transformers, medium voltage switchgear, 12 kV, and low voltage switchgear.
“Harju Elekter opens up a new business area where substations for solar and charging are standardized. This is very exciting especially when considering the big potential in the market”, said Jan Axelsson, regional Sales Manager for Mälardalen.
