Extensive involvement in exciting projects
Harju Elekter has won several exciting projects during the summer, which provides continued exciting involvement in electrification projects for our project engineers.
Expansion of primary station Grönsta in Eskilstuna
Harju Elekter has received a new major contract from Eskilstuna Strängnäs Energi & Miljö, ESEM, for the expansion of the existing Grönsta primary station. This will be our sixth delivery to ESEM. The expansion comprises two 145 kV transformer bays and a new station and control room with over 40 SNC 20 kV panels. This then means Harju Elekter has delivered over 600 SNCs to customers throughout Sweden.
The delivery also includes two new 145/30 kV breakers, assembly of two transformers, 60 MVA, installation in a new substation house with 46 SNC 20 kV panels, and associated control and automation equipment. In addition, the project includes project management, project engineering, site works, installation, testing, and commissioning. Delivery and final inspection are scheduled for spring 2023.
Power supply to Hydro66 in Boden
Hydro66 offers secure and sustainable cloud service solutions for corporations and public bodies. Hydro66 chose Boden for their data center because of the naturally cold climate that cools the servers, natural power grid redundancy, plus access to hydropower.
Since Hydro66 started in Boden, Harju Elekter has delivered equipment for power supply in two rounds, in 2018 and again in 2021. The latest delivery included, among other things, a large E-house with medium voltage and battery equipment.
In May 2022, another order was received from Hydro66 for the complete delivery of power supply equipment, which includes low- and medium-voltage switchgear, transformers, plus project management, engineering, installation, and testing on site.
E-house to Lilla Edet hydropower plant
Vattenfall Vattenkraft is upgrading Lilla Edet’s hydroelectric power plant in Göta Älv. Vattenfall started the renovation project in 2021, which will secure hydropower production there for another 100 years.
In June, Harju Elekter received an order for a large E-house, 14×4 meters, with low-voltage switchgear, back-up power equipment, and a transformer. The project also includes installation of equipment provided by the customer.
