More contracts for Harju Elekter from Stockholm Region

In autumn 2020 the Stockholm regional council, which is responsible for public transport in the region, requested Harju Elekter to upgrade the electricity distribution system at Slussen metro station. Harju Elekter has now received additional contracts to replace rectifier stations in the metro system at two other locations, Albano and Rådhuset.

The projects include new 33 kV switchgear, transformers, a 750 V low voltage system, a 0.4 kV VS system, battery, control and monitoring systems. The project scope also includes construction, testing, ground preparation and cabling.

Roland Andersson, Business Area Manager for infrastructure projects at Harju Elekter: “We are extremely proud to continue our good working relationship with the Stockholm Metro organization, SL. We are also happy that Harju Elekter is able to contribute to the continued development of the public transport system in the Stockholm area.”

Harju Elekter is starting the project design and planning work now to ensure that the rectifier station at Albano will be completed by April 2022, and the one at Rådhuset by September 2022.
